If your home has an exhaust fan, be sure to flip it on when you’re about to take a shower. The fan will remove the humidity in the air caused by your shower. Reduce the Heat of Your Shower

We all enjoy a hot shower from time to time but if your showers are routinely steamy, it might be a good idea to reduce the heat. The build-up of moisture and heat will linger long after your shower is over since its trapped inside. If a hot shower is a must for you, consider opening a window to allow trapped moisture to escape.

Use a Dehumidifier

A water bucket will slowly fill up with the water removed from the air before being emptied either automatically or by the user. Depending on the size of your bathroom, a portable dehumidifier might be enough to solve a humidity problem.

Hang Wet Towels Outside

Long before the days of electric driers people used to hang their wet clothing out to dry. If humidity is a problem in your bathroom, hang your towel outside to dry instead of hanging it on your bathroom towel rack. If that’s not an option, dry in the dryer quickly to remove moisture.
